Entry Qualifications:
Holder of a Diploma in Radiology from any recognized Institution. Must be enrolled in the register of Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals as a Radiographer.

Main Duties and Qualifications:
To perform duties of a Radiographer To maintain x-ray equipments
To ensure quality of x-rays taken.
To prepare contrast media and chemicals for x-rays.
To perform other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.
Remuneration:
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institute's salary scale - PMGSS 5.

Position Description:
The Canadian Cooperation office is seeking an Extractives Advisor to work as part of Canada's Sustainable Economic Development team. The Advisor will provide technical support and advice to Canada in the development and implementation of a portfolio of projects in the extractives sector. This could include advice in policy and legal/regulatory framework, governance, resource management (particularly in the areas of mining, oil and gas), public private partnerships, institutional and capacity development, technical and vocational development, environmental management and corporate social responsibility. The position requires demonstrated competency and skills in the areas of critical analysis, oral and written communication, interpersonal and public relations, planning and organization, project management, problem solving and time management.
A minimum of a bachelors' degree from a recognized university is required. Preference will be given to candidates with previous working experience in the Extractive Sector and experience working with government agencies.
Applicants must have full written and oral fluency in English; fluency in Kiswahili will also be considered an asset. Competency with Microsoft and other commonly used computer software applications is also required.
This position is being offered as a short term employment contract to Sept. 30, 2014.

Medical Doctor II (17 posts) - (To work in Orthopaedic/Trauma, Neurosurgery and Anaesthesiology units).

Entry Qualifications:
Holder of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or MBCHB or its equivalent from a recognized institution. Must have completed one year Internship and be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika as a Medical Doctor. The Successful candidates will work in Orthopaedic/Trauma unit (7), Neurosurgery unit (5) and Anaesthesiology unit (5). Applicants should indicate their areas of interest.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To attend in and out patients.
To attend emergency medical duties.
To ensure prescribed instructions are carried out. To conduct minor operations.
To assist Surgeons at operations. To participate in major ward rounds.
To ensure patients are properly prepared for surgery. To participate in research activities.
Candidates will be expected to carry out duties and responsibilities of Medical Doctor II in their respective areas of profession.
To perform other duties assigned by his/her superior.
