Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities

Inspects and report condition of the designated roads on monthly basis or at more frequent intervals if required.
Prepare and supervises monthly work
programme for petty contractors undertaking routine/recurrent, periodic and emergency
Maintenance works as directed.
Supervise roads and bridges maintenance works as directed.
Measures and recommend payment for certified works.
Certifies worksheet, delivery notes and similar documentation as directed by the Engineers.
Prepare report as required.
Carries out in-situ testing and sites samples.
Undertake all regional laboratory tests.
Record and reports on all tests results.
Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Regional Manager. .

Education/professional qualifications:

Holder of Full technician Certificate (FTC - Civil),or
Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Must have post experience of at least 8 years.
Must be computer literate.

Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
