Duties and Responsibilities
• Teaches students up to NTA level 10 (PhD level).
• Guide and supervise students in building up their practical and research projects.
• Prepare learning resources and design training exercise for students.
• Conduct consultancy and community services.
• Undertake individual research.
• Supervise and guide post-graduate students.
• Prepare teaching manuals, simulations and case studies for training.
• Coach junior teaching staff.
• Assume managerial leadership roles e.g. Coordination of academic programmes or major research projects and consultancy.
Qualifications and Experience:
• PhD in Official Statistics from a recognized higher learning institution.
• Should as well have experience in teaching, research and consultancy in Industrial
• Statistics; Agricultural Statistics; Trade Statistics; Price Statistics and Index Numbers; National Accounts – SUT and SAMs as well as Actuarial Science
• Should also have worked as Senior Lecturer in a recognized higher learning institution, and has published at least three papers in international journals.

• Manage server operating systems.
• Assist in standards software installation so as to maintain the quality of the service.
• Assist in hard ware installation.
• Assist in trouble shooting LAN and hard ware/software problems so as to maintain the standard of service delivery.
• Assist students and other staff in the use of ICT
• Assist in managing and maintaining networks for quality service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from recognized Institutions with very strong knowledge of the principles, practices developments and techniques used in systems analysis and applications programming.
• Should be certified in any Service level Management such as ITIL.
• Should be skilled Object Oriented Programming and scripting Languages like C, HTML, PHP, Ajax, Jquery and .Net. She/he should be knowledgeable in using programming frameworks such as Codeigniter, YII, Bootstrap, Foundation etc.
• Knowledge in database designing, development and Administration will be an added advantage.
