Job Title: Senior Lecturer in Statistical Research Methodology

Duties and Responsibilities
• Teach students up to NTA level 10 (PhD level).
• Guide and supervise students in building up their practical and research projects.
• Prepare learning resources and design training exercise for students.
• Conduct consultancy and community services.
• Undertake individual research.
• Supervise and guide post-graduate students.
• Prepare teaching manuals, simulations and case studies for training.
• Coach junior teaching staff.
• Assume managerial leadership roles e.g. Coordination of academic programmes or major research projects and consultancy.
Qualifications and Experience:
• PhD in Research Methodology from a recognized higher learning institution. The applicant should as well have experience in teaching, research and consultancy in sampling; survey research methodology; designing and organizing large scale surveys; experimental design; and small area estimation.
• The applicant should also have worked as Senior Lecturer in a recognized higher learning institution,
• Has published at least three papers in international journals.
Terms of Contract
• Permanent and pensionable terms and favorable conditions of service.

• Completes quality assurance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning staff attendants; following up on work results.
• Maintains quality assurance of hostels’ and classrooms’ attendants by orienting, and mentoring such employees.
• Maintains quality assurance of students’ staff job results by counseling, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing social work professional publications; establishing inter-personal networks;
