Job Summary;
1. Responsible for receiving and processing applications for registration of Contractors. He or she is accountable to the
2. Assistant Registrar Registration Services.
Qualifications:
• Holder of a Degree or equivalent, qualifications in Engineering preferably Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• from a recognized institution with at least three years post graduate experience and Must be registered with
• Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Receive and scrutinize for completeness, all applications for Registration and upgrading
• Process applications for Registration of Contractors
• Conduct inspection for the purpose of verifying data obtaining in the applications or for review purposes
• Review Registered Contractors ‘performance with the view to recommend them for up-grading, downgrading or deletion
• Update a data bank of Registered Contractors
• To do any other duties as may be assigned by his Supervisor
Age Limit:
The age limit is 40 years.

Community Entry, Sensitization, Mobilization;
• Secure buy-in and support of key leaders in project communities including ward and village government, traditional leaders, and School Committee members through culturally appropriate and effective sensitization of the project objectives and activities
• Stimulate involvement of parents, teachers, School Committees, community leaders, and local government authorities through contributions of time, materials, participation, and other support to the project
Implementation of Project Activities
• Implement project activities to achieve project objectives in accordance with approved work plans and agreed upon modalities
• Facilitate the bringing together of schools, communities, local leaders and other stakeholders to participate in all stages of the project as well as develop community level plans for sustainability
• Link the program with stakeholders at ward and village level to ensure a high level of coordination, transparency, and sustainable support
Technical Support & Quality Assurance;
• Facilitate required trainings, supervision, follow-ups, etc. at the school and community levels in coordination with District Project Coordinators and Project Officers
• Facilitate capacity building to teachers, parents, and village leaders to effectively implement project activities, in particular the management of school feeding at the school level
• Communicate and address challenges arid concerns from the schools In coordination with project team
Commodity Management;
• Monitor the receipt, storage, handling, preparation, distribution, and recording tracking of food commodities for the provision of school based meals to primary and pre-primary school students in designated schools
• Initiate monthly distribution requests in coordination with District Project Coordinator
Data Collection & Management;
• Collect and generate accurate documentation from the school and community level to demonstrate the execution of project activities and community contributions, in coordination with the project's M&E plan and tools
• Consolidate data on a monthly basis from project schools to facilitate monthly data analysis and to track progress against project targets
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least a University Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences, Education, Agriculture, Economics, or other relevant field, or at least 4 years of relevant community based experience and Computer literacy.
• At least 2 years of community-based experience
• Willingness to work and live at ward level with monthly visits to district capitol Ability and official license to ride a motorcycle
• High level of familiarity with the respective districts and wards preferred

• Knowledge and experience in performance based management, and some technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas Primary Education, Agriculture, Health and Nutrition, or WASH.
• Substantial experience and knowledge of effective financial management, budget execution, and internal controls. Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team and ability to lead, motivate and develop others. Demonstrated experience interacting with government officials and community-based stakeholders; Excellent project management skills; Strong computer skills (MS Office)
• Excellent English skills (verbal and written);
