Duty Station: Dar Es Salaam
Responsibilities:
• Ensure departmental/store sales are in line with agreed budgets
• Effectively manage weekly and seasonal Store sales plan and implement trading notes for the store
• Ensure effective Clothing & Home inventory processes are implemented in the store
• Ensure shop keeping disciplines are continuously in place in the store. This includes the following: ticketing, rack alignment, hygiene & cleanliness, proportionality, adjacencies, hangers, stockroom disciplines, replenishment, merchandising principles, CLASH principles and availability
• Maximise promotional & special event sales by accurately & timeously implementing promotions and providing feedback to store manager
• Conduct comparative shopping to inform store manager as well as improve product knowledge
• Conduct weekly risk documentation
• Ensure the delivery of a consistent customer shopping experience in line with the agreed service levels
• Ensure timeous replenishment of merchandise Develop, recruit, retain and lead a competent and motivated clothing & home team
• Conduct performance and developm nt discussions(lPM) with team
• Minimise shrinkage
Key Competencies;
Qualifications and Technical knowledge and skills:
• Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification will be advantageous
• At least 2 years experience in a formal retail environment
• Retail and supervisory experience is an added advantage
