Job Title: Operations Manager

Employer: Woolworths

Duty Station: Dar Es Salaam

Responsibilities:

• Provide input into the Stores operating plan
• Implement and maintain health and safety procedures in line with country/woolworths policy
• Manage the security operations in store and in off-site stockrooms to minimize loss
• Manage the store and equipment maintenance processes to ensure availability, functionality and safety
• Manage contractors and service level agreements for the stores
• Manage cleaning and hygiene operations to ensure a hygienic store environment
• Interact with external stakeholders (Centre management, tenants, landlords, town councils, protection services, etc.)
• Manage and implement loss and control measures
• Manage end-to-end logistic processes and the stock information management system Manage operations budget and expenses Develop, recruit, retain and lead store operations team
• Conduct performance and development discussions with team

• Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification
