ICT Officer Job Vacancy at National Institute for Medical Research in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania.

Job Title: ICT Officer(Two Posts).

Duties and Responsibilities:
•To perform equipment repair, diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware problems;
•To perform all functions required to prepare and install software to computers and related equipment, including connections to the data and voice communications network;
•To report faults and undertake some minor maintenance To train users in the basic operation and maintenance of computers and related components;
•To develop system specifications, write and test programmes and compile support documentation and manuals;
•To evaluate requests for computer services, develop alternate proposals and recommend new applications,
•To perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:
•Holder of Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or Full computer Technician Certificate from a recognized institution.

Knowledge and skills:
•Knowledge of computer hardware and software
•Ability to prepare and install computer software and related equipment
•Knowledge of voice and data communication networks Ability to communicate effectively and conduct training

Terms of Employment;
•One year contract (renewable on mutual agreement)
